What skillsets and experience should I have before taking the ColdFusion certification exam?
Macromedia recommends the following prerequisites before pursuing your ColdFusion MX 7.0 Certification:
   » Two or more years experience with one or more programming languages.
   » Experienced in the applied use of an enterprise level database server.
   » One or more years of experience creating applications using ColdFusion.

How much does the ColdFusion MX 7.0 certified developer's exam cost?
The price in North America for the Certified ColdFusion MX 7.0 Developer Exam is $150 (US Dollars) - payable via a valid credit card at the time you register for the exam. Pricing outside North America varies by country.

What is the format of the Certified ColdFusion MX 7.0 Developer exam?
The Certified ColdFusion MX 7.0 Developer Exam consists of 66 challenging multiple choice questions delivered in a secure, proctored testing environment. You will have 70 minutes to complete the exam. Reference materials and discussion between examinees is strictly prohibited. Candidates need to score 70% correct or better on the Certified ColdFusion MX 7.0 Developer exam to pass and become certified.

Macromedia will now award individuals who achieve a superior score on the exam with special status. If you receive a test score of 85% or better on your exam, you will receive Advanced ColdFusion MX 7.0 Developer status. Certified Advanced ColdFusion MX 7.0 Developers are entitled to use the Advanced ColdFusion MX 7.0 Developer logo on business cards, letterheads, and Web sites. Also, they will be listed in a directory found on the Macromedia Web site.

Adobe is teaming with Pearson VUE to offer the Certified ColdFusion MX 7.0 Developer Exam worldwide at any one of the more than 4,000 worldwide testing facilities.
