It's Almost Perfect...
First off, I will say that this is probably (and has consistantly been) the finest series of books on getting about in Photoshop, after the manual itself. It is written in a clear, concise and visually interesting and accessible way. In my heart, I would like to give this book five stars (which, on one level, it certainly deserves). However, I give it only four stars because it ignores some of the newest important powers of Photoshop CS, used within the cross-media world of this early 21st Century, such as: Photoshop's ability to convert square pixals into rectangular ones for video. Also, the color section has become a showcase for talented artists who employ photoshop, rather than using the section for important examples of Photoshop CS' new color controls. Otherwise, this book is way on the mark! It's the book to have next to your computer when you boot up.
