Customer ReviewsRating: 5 out of 5 A must-read for anyone interested in biometrics This book takes a very complex subject and makes it easy to understand. It provides a solid understanding of the various biometric technologies, how well they work, and how they can and should be used. However, the best part of the book is its extensive and balanced treatment of biometric privacy issues - an often misunderstood topic that has generated much controversy. Rating: 3 out of 5 Good intro The guys from IBG (International Biometrics Group) did their best to create an introduction to biometrics and their applications.I'd say they did a reasonable job. There's not many books out there, so if you want to dip your toes in the biometric waters, this might be a good place. Rating: 2 out of 5 Good for beginners, NOT good for everyone This books is for IT novices. It is NOT for engineers. If you want a book that gives a high level overview, this book is OK for that. If you want technical details about how the technology works, this book is not for you.
