Customer ReviewsRating: 5 out of 5 A good explanation of ISD methodologies and future potential This book is a review of exisitng Information Systems Development (ISD) methodologies and the place each has had in the paradigm of IS. While providing an in-depth look at the issues surrounding each of the methodologies the authors have also provided a look at a newly developing paragim in ISD, that of neo-humanism. A book well worth reading if you have an interest in the history of ISD, or you are looking for material on the theories behind each of the methodologies that make up the history of ISD. These authors suggest that there are four paradigms associated with this topic, make up your own mind. They also include a philosophical perspective on data modelling but this may be a bonus to the main issue of ISD methodologies.
