Karinjit Siyan does it again.
It doesn't get any better than this book. I'm comparing this with the other books such as Sybex and Osborne. Mr. Siyan can make any complicated topic understandable. I love the traces section, SNMP, IPSEC, and DNS. I also recommend Mark Minasi. The 2 top W2K masters are Karinjit Siyan and Mark Minasi. You have to get this book if you want to get a technical advantage over the average system engineers.

Excellent TCP/IP Instruction and reference
I had the pleasure of writing a review for the inside flap of this book, and would like to add to it here.

TCP/IP is an excellent book for anyone looking to learn TCP/IP as it is integrated and expanded upon for Windows 2000. It also servers as an excellent piece of reference material; everything is layed out in a manner in which information can be found quickly. This book covers all of the major topics dealing with TCP/IP from the actual architecture of TCP/IP to how it is implimented in certain types of networks, and more. In addition to the index where you can find instances of any topic that is covered in the book, every chapter is very well named and very effectively describes the contents of the chapter. In fact, listing the chapters would even suffice as an overview of what you can learn from the book.
