Customer ReviewsRating: 5 out of 5 Excellent Coverage I used this book to move my NetWare 5/6 Network to a pure IP environment. It helped in the design and deployment of services such as DHCP and DNS using our NetWare 6 servers. NetWare makes TCP/IP very easy to manage. Rating: 4 out of 5 Not a certification book If you are looking for good reference material for the TCP/IP exam by Novell, this is not a one stop shop. It covers about 3/4th's of the information for the exam if you use it for that purpose as I did. I did found some great how to's about migrating and running my Netware 5 environment and make things a little better. But this book is not great if you are looking for certification. Yet it is the only one out there that comes close. Rating: 4 out of 5 TCP/IP for NetWare 5 Like any Novell Press book, the authors explore the subject matter from a Novell Network Administrator/Engineer point of view. The subject matter of TCP/IP is covered for mastering IP subnetting and other network IP addressing topics of TCP/IP.Buying Novell Press books is a inexpensive way to study for the NetWare 5 CNE exams without needing to take the course with the Novell Study Kits that cost a fortune for the same material in Novell Press books that help CNE candidates study and prepare for the real exam.
