Empty Canteens make the most noise!

Great
This book is an excellent book for those that have experience with the Solaris OS. It gives detailed examples of various exam objectives and is clearly written which makes it easy to understand. If you've never worked with the OS before then you may have some problems comprhending some of the terminology; however, it is still a pretty decent book for a beginner to begin skimming through and pay attention to detail and gain an understanding of what will be expected on the certification exam. I also purchased the Solaris 8 exam cram; however, I never had the time nor got around to taking the certification. This Solaris 9 book definitely helped me understand the new features and commands that are available and just some of the subtle differences between the two version's. Best of luck to everyone planning to take the exam. Hope this review helped somewhat. Definitely worth the 20+ dollars.

Pass Exam - Not for Referance
If you want to pass the exam and you have worked on Solaris for at least a year, this is the book. If you are looking for a referance book, look elsewhere. Condensed information for both exams into one book. The disk even has example questions.
