if your a beginner as I was it is helpful
this book covers three areas in a novice fashion ditigal cameras, scanners and image software/ it is in simple language in a general manner. The information contained in the book was for the beginner(not very tech)yet it is pricey.

Too easy!
This book is a very basic guide.The material on cameras and scanners is outdated. Rather than explaining concepts, the author tries to cover 4 different editing programs. This is a very superficial book. It is suitable for lazy beginers.
