Customer ReviewsRating: 2 out of 5 If you've never used a wizard, get this book. Most of this book is meant for the extreme novice. Most everything explained within it pertains to using the embedded Wizards...it is certainly NOT for someone that wants to learn about the advanced features of FrontPage.By reading this book, you will not learn anything beyond creating your first web page. There is hardly anything about corporate intranets, subwebs, security, etc. (all topics that are highlights of FrontPage). Rating: 2 out of 5 Official FrontPage 2000 Book This book is decent reference material for experienced web devlopers looking to learn the tools of FrontPage, but is not appropriate for beginners. The mateial is poorly presented, lacking in graphics, and is poorly written. The book is plagued by irrevelant information, run-on sentences, and topics being referenced before they are defined and explained. Aside from the fact that the authors clearly do not have a background in instructional design, it also appears that they might benefit from an introductory college English course. I can't believe Microsoft endorses this book! Rating: 4 out of 5 Informative, interesting and funny I found the book fun to read, and learned a lot about FrontPage. Its not a boring technical computer book, but written in a way the average person can understand. Good web practices for the person with just some experience, like me.
