More like an Advertisement
I think one could get the gist of GIS from free web sites instead of buying this book. It's not bad, it's just more like an advertisement than what the title suggests.

Good Book
Very good book that explains the uses of GIS in the Natural Resource Environment. Book is very simple to understand yet can also be used by more advanced individuals for exmaples on how to use GIS.
