Customer ReviewsRating: 1 out of 5 Poorly Written Very poorly written book. Seems like author was trying to cover too much is too little space. Also author seems like in a hurry about publishing this book. Mistakes in the code. Not recommneded to be used as a text book Rating: 1 out of 5 As I now know after reading (part) of this book.. It stinks! This is a bad book indeed. I couldn't continue after 80 or so pages. Maybe I'll pick it up again one day... to throw it in the trash! Every other paragraph starts off 'As you now know' or 'As you have learned' in reference to previously covered information. The writing style is horrible! It's technical coverage is also superficial. Rating: 1 out of 5 One of the most superficial programming books I've read. This is a very bad programming book. In fact, it is one of the worst books in my substantial library of programming references. Most of the first part of the book is a duplicate of the first few chapters of Jamsa's "Internet Programming" (also not worth purchasing).
The treatment of most topics is extremely superficial.
The index is unbelievably bad. Short of reading every page, it is very hard to find information on specific subject matter.
