Symbolic Integration
This book should be on the shelf of every Computer Algebra System researcher! It covers all aspects of symbolic integration--although it claims to be about transcedental functions it covers the integration of rational functions, exponentials, logarithms, trigonometric functions and so on. It presents algorithms for determining if an elementary function has an elementary antiderivative as well as algorithms for integrating the aforementioned functions (rational, exp, log, trig, and the such). It assumes very little of the reader (only a knowledge of elementary abstract algebra).
