You can control several program settings by going to View -> Program Options on the main menu, pressing CTRL + K, or click the Program Options icon on the main toolbar (as pictured below).

You can control the look and feel of the checkboxes during your test by choosing from one of the 14 styles provided.

To change your checkbox appearance, click the 'CheckBox Appearance' icon in the tree control in the left-hand panel and select which checkbox style you like best and click the OK button to save your choice (as shown below).
